Online editor privacy /

The homepage is the online editor. Images and recipes are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. Hosting sees connection metadata. License login sends your license key to our server and Gumroad; it is encrypted in a short-lived server session, not stored in localStorage. An HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict cookie identifies the session. Checkout sets a separate two-hour HttpOnly cookie and sends a one-way random reference to Gumroad; verified payment notifications can then unlock this browser. On supported desktop browsers a script-opened payment window temporarily retains its opener so our editor can return it to Batch after verification. The trusted Gumroad payment flow cannot read artwork across origins, but holds the usual cross-window navigation capability; keep the original tab open. After return, a one-time exact-window, same-origin message copies your image and crop settings entirely in browser memory and detaches the opener. No artwork is sent to the payment provider. Checkout records contain no images or buyer email and expire within two hours; any license or recoverable delivery token in them is encrypted. Notifications are authenticated using a private subscription URL and independently reverified against Gumroad; raw event bodies are not retained. Sessions expire after 15 minutes, and logout revokes future access. Rate-limit counters use a hash of your connection IP for one minute. The host may keep its own access logs. No analytics, ads, account creation, or image storage are added. The seller-authorized sale lookup checks full and partial refunds; buyer details returned by the payment provider are not retained in the session. Language preference is stored locally and can be removed through site-data settings. Download names/reports can contain private data. Already downloaded client software cannot be remotely revoked. Online checkout and activation availability are shown on the editor page. Batch is early access; the existing US$19 purchase covers the offline edition and online access without repurchase.

The downloadable offline edition is described on the offline edition page. /
